Founder

The actual founder is strongly disputed.

The origins are accredited to the Iga Province and Koka, Shiga in Japan.

Ninjutsu dates back about 1100 years, although most believe the art dates back much further, possibly as much as 2000 years.

History

In earlier times, the shinobi were known as assisans, scouts, and spies. They were more or less seen as criminals, although they actually considered themselves stealthy warriors, in a sense an army.
