Muay Thai Techniques, Training, and History

Muay Thai techniques vary from what they were when it was developed.

It is mainly used in sport with gloves like boxing and contained in a ring.

The art uses hands, shins, elbows, and knees which is why it is referred to as "The Art of Eight Limbs".

Most martial arts use two (fists) or four (hands and feet) points of contact where Muay thai adds the shins and elbows.
