The History of Kung Fu and its Techniques

The history of Kung fu is more interesting to me because it is my personal favorite.

No reason in particular besides liking the flow of its forms and the weapons that are involved in the art.

Kung fu is actually a very general term meaning mastery of an art.

"Kung" means "accomplishment"

"Fu" means "effort"

This is where the term "my kung fu is better!" came into play.

It is usually a joke but in reality it just means they have mastered that subject being described and nothing to do with the martial art.

Wu Shu is the correct Chinese term for martial arts. This describes militaristic techniques. Both Wu Shu and Kung fu are used interchangeably in China.

There are many styles of Kung Fu.
