David Carradine his martial art life, his types of martial arts and of course martial arts and acting.
David Carradine was born on December 8, 1936 in Hollywood, California and passed away on June 3, 2009 in Bangkok Thailand at the age of 72.
The parents of Carradine were his well-known actor and father John Carradine and mother Ardanelle "Abigail" McCool.
He has four brothers Bruce, Keith, Christopher, and Robert. David is also an uncle of Martha Plimpton, and a grandnephew of the artist Will Foster. To say the least with his family tree acting was certainly in Carradine's blood, but he was also musician, songwriter, and an artist.
He had a long and successful career as an actor on television. David starred in the hit TV series Kung Fu playing the role of a half Caucasian, half Chinese Shaolin monk known as Kwai Chang Caine.
The show had a very successful three seasons before ending in the mid-seventies. Kung Fu also enjoyed some success as a movie in the mid-eighties, and a television series rebirth in the nineties with Carradine reprising the role of the Shaolin monk Caine again for four seasons.
David Carradine also had roles in both of the North and South TV miniseries and as host of the show Wild West tech on the History Channel.
Carradine also had some success on the Silver Screen as well.
He played Frankenstein the racecar driver in the Roger Corman cult classic film Death Race 2000. He also played the starring role of Woody Guthrie in Bound for Glory by Hal Ashbury.
David also starred in both of Quentin Tarantino Kill Bill movies as Bill the master assassin who is named in the title of both films.
In addition to his acting career Carradine also enjoyed some success as a musician/song writer and was able to play the Flute, piano, guitar and other instruments as well
